FRISCO DEPOT PARK

Oklahoma Centennial Clock The Frisco Depot Park in front the Frisco Depot Museum is a part of the Choctaw County Historical Society complex. The park contains a gazebo, a Davenport narrow gauge steam engine, several memorials, shaded picnic areas and Hugo's Oklahoma Centennial Clock.

The Davenport Locomotive Works Steam Locomotive (a 0-4-0T Dinkie) was obtained from a logging operation near Poteau, Oklahoma. Prior to that it had been used in the coal mines near McAlester, Oklahoma. This locomotive has the number 1907 painted on the left side and DkW OZA R. R. CO. (in Cheorkee) on the right side.

The Oklahoma Centennial Clock was installed in 2007 as a part of Oklahoma's Statehood Centennial Celebration. It was funded by a grant from the Oklahoma Centennial Commission.
